How to set up a connection between Dr.Sum Cloud and dejiren

This article describes how to set up a connection between Dr.Sum Cloud and dejiren.

Required permissions and prerequisites

Dr.Sum Cloud– Users with database access permissions:
Please refer to Dr.Sum Manual and create a user with the necessary permissions.
– You must allow dejiren global IP address to connect to Dr.Sum Cloud. (Adding or changing IP addresses that can connect to Dr.Sum Cloud
Configure the connection settings in dejiren

No settings are required on Dr.Sum Cloud, but please make sure to check in advance the information required for connection, such as the Dr.Sum Cloud server port number, the name of the database to connect to, the groups and Dr.Sum user accounts for access, and the passwords.
Note: Connection settings for the on-premise version of Dr.Sum is currently under preparation.

Create a connection setting

 
1. Log in to the dejiren VA management page.

2. Click Connections at the top of the VA management page to show Connections page.

 
3. Under Connections, click New.

 
4. In the Create New Connection Settings dialog,click Dr.Sum and click Next.

 
5. Enter the required values for each connection setting item.

6. Once you have entered the values for each item, click Test Connection to confirm that the connection is established successfully.


If the message “Connection failed” is displayed, please check that the values entered in each setting item are correct.
In addition, please check if the connected Dr.Sum Cloud is not under maintenance and try again.

 
7. Click Save to complete the creation of the new connection setting.
